FOR ADULTS AND TEENS AGES 14-17
Step into the meadow outside the deer exclosure fence and immerse yourself in the height of milkweed season. Wander among vanilla-scented blossoms and other native wildflowers as pollinators move from flower to flower, observing the many insects tucked among the leaves and petals. Slow your pace and notice the intricate structure of a milkweed blossom, the hum of native bees at work, and the flash of orange from a passing monarch. Explore the rich community of plants, pollinators, and other insects, and learn simple ways you can support them at home.
