Tinicum Township Memorial Day Parade

The Tinicum Township Memorial Day Parade, sponsored by Fox-Smith VFW Post 4845 and the VFW Auxiliary, will kick off 10 a.m. at the Old Lester Fire House.
Tinicum Township teams and coaches are invited to march in the parade in their team uniforms. The Interboro High School band, VFW Auxiliary, Tinicum Township Fire Department and Auxiliary, the Tinicum Township Historical Society and more will march in the parade. Parade participants will line up at 9:45 a.m.
The parade route will go from Fourth and Massasoit to Seneca Street, turn left to town hall, where a ceremony will take place.
The parade will then proceed from Jansen Avenue to Third Street, turn right onto Carre Avenue and then left into the VFW Post at 119 Carre Ave., where there will be soda and hotdogs.
The public is encouraged to attend.
