Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced artist, everyone is welcome to join us at the PACC. This class focuses on acrylic painting, a versatile water-based medium that becomes waterproof once dry. You’ll be guided through a step-by-step process to comeplete a specififc project. In this workshop The Dam House, nestled along Crum Creek beside the Yale Avenue waterfalls, will be painted in warm earth tones that echo the gentle glow of egg tempera. The composition will incorporate background, middle ground, and foreground so the house feels rooted in the landscape. Students will explore purposeful compositional choices, including the rule of thirds and expressive directional vectors that invite the viewer’s gaze to travel around the scene.
