Newlin Grist Mill: Race for the Watershed 5K and Duck Derby

Help support healthy waterways in our community with the third annual Race for the Watershed Duck Derby & 5K, taking place on Saturday, June 13th at Newlin Mill.
Held in partnership with Concord Township, this event is a fundraiser to help raise money for watershed protection projects at Newlin Grist Mill.
The day will kick off at 9am with a 5K race on the Park’s trails after a pre-race warmup provided by YogaSix Glen Mills. Runners ages 21 and up will receive a free beer from Succession Fermentory at the finish line! Not a runner? Don’t worry, there will be plenty to see and do with kids’ games and activities, local vendors, live music, and car show from 10am to 2pm! Rubber duck races in the creek start at 11:00am.
Admission is free to watch the races & enjoy the Family Fun Festival! There is a $35 per runner entry fee for the 5K ($40 for day-of registration). Racing ducks can be “adopted” for $20 per duck or $50 for 3 ducks. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers of the 5K, and top finishers in each age group will receive gift cards from local businesses. Winners of the duck races will be awarded cash prizes of up to $100 per heat and a championship prize of up to $1000.
