Dining Under the Stars (May 7 – September 24)

Every Wednesday, the Borough closes State Street to vehicular traffic from 5-11pm.  This allows Media’s great restaurants and shops to set up outside (right across the trolley tracks!) for the biggest, most fun, alfresco shopping and dining event around.  State Street, Media, PA 19063

 

Media Arts Council (MAC) Presents: Twilight Music Series (May 31 – October 18)

MAC is introducing the Twilight Music Series. A free evening of music once a month on the Media Community Center Lawn.  Sterling Pig Brewery is Sponsoring the beer tent and you can bring a lawn chair or blanket or just relax on the lawn. Rose Tree Park Summer Music Festival (June 11 – August 10)

You can’t beat a free concert—especially at a scenic outdoor amphitheater in one of Delco’s most beautiful parks! This year, the festival celebrates 50 years of incredible music with an eclectic lineup where anything goes—classical to Cajun, Motown to rock, Broadway, and everything in between. 1671 N. Delaware County’s 4th annual Juneteenth Celebration (June 19)

Friends of Heinz Refuge Sumer Solstice Celebration  (June 20):

Philly M.A.C. Fest – A Daylong Celebration (June 29) 

At Swarthmore Borough Ampitheater and featuring PFS Musical Coop Artists from the 2024 Philadelphia Folk Festival.  If it rains, the fest will move indoors to The WaR3house3 across the street (and up the alley). 121 Park Ave, Swarthmore, PA 19081

 

Harrah’s Philadelphia:  Philly Foodie & Fireworks Festival (July 5)

Linvilla Orchards Peach & Sunflower Festival (August 9)

Historic Chadds Ford Days (September 13 & 14)

Join the Chadds Ford Historical Society for a historical journey back to September 11th, 1777, when the British army engaged Washington’s troops at Chads’ Ford.  Two timed skirmishes and a firing demo will take place each day.  Additionally, reenactors, demonstrators and other historians will be on site.  Live music, food, and beverages will be available.  1736 Creek Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317

 

Upper Darby International Festival (September 20)

Marcus Hook Pirate Festival (September 25)

The Great Pumpkin Carve (October 16,17 & 18)

A three day ‘Chadds Ford tradition’ where over 70 giant pumpkins are carved by local artists on Thursday and will be lit and displayed on Friday & Saturday.
