Dining Under the Stars (May 6 – September 30)

Every Wednesday, the Borough closes Statvehicular traffic from 5-11pm.  This allows Media’s great restaurants and shops to set up outside (right across the trolley tracks!) for the biggest, most fun, alfresco shopping and dining event around.  State Street, Media, PA 19063

Discover Haverford:  Love Local Nights (May 28, June 17, September 17 & October 7)

Shops stay open late for an evening of live music, shopping, and community celebration in Haverford Township. Enjoy a shopping passport, local vendors, and more while exploring the Brookline and Oakmont shopping districts.  Brookline and Oakmont Districts, Havertown, PA

Media Arts Council:  Twilight Music Series (May 29, June 26, July 25, August 15 & September 12)

Haverford Heritage Festival  (June 1)

The 16th Annual Haverford Heritage Festival brings thousands of people from the whole community together for a fun-filled and relaxed day along Karakung Drive in the historic Powder Mill Valley.  Nitre Hall and Lawrence Cabin are also open for free docent-guided tours.  1682 Karakung Dr, Havertown, PA 19083

Delaware County Pride Parade & Pride on State (June 6)

Celebrate Pride in Delaware County with the Annual Delco Pride Parade! Enjoy a lively display of music, dance, colorful banners, and community spirit. This inclusive event honors and supports the LGBTQQIA+ community with performances, advocacy, and pride from local groups, organizations, and allies across the region.  State Street, Media, PA 19063

 Linvilla Orchards Strawberry Festival (June 6)

Linvilla is a great place to be all year, but one event you should mark on your calendar is the annual Strawberry Festival, which takes place during the peak of the local strawberry season. Ciao Delco Italian American Heritage Festival  (June 7)

Annual community celebration honoring the rich traditions, culture, and contributions of Italian Americans throughout the Delaware Valley. Held at Rose Tree Park, the festival brings together families, community organizations, local businesses, and cultural groups for a day filled with authentic Italian food, live music, cultural exhibits, and activities for all ages. 1671 N. Swarthmore Pride Celebration (June 7)

A celebration of love, inclusivity, and pride.  Featuring community groups, craft vendors, food trucks, face painting, music and more!  Park Avenue, Swarthmore, PA 19081

Wayne Music Festival (June 13)

Rose Tree Park Summer Music Festival (June 17 – August 16)

You can’t beat a free concert—especially at a scenic outdoor amphitheater in one of Delco’s most beautiful parks! The festival celebrates 50+ years of incredible music with an eclectic lineup where anything goes—classical to Cajun, Motown to rock, Broadway, and everything in between. 1671 N. Swarthmore Amped Up Concert Series (June 18, July 16 & August 20)

Head to the Amphitheater at 121 Park Avenue for a fun-filled evening of live music under the open sky. Enjoy a rotating lineup of food trucks and let the kids get creative with a free face painter.  121 Park Avenue, Swarthmore, PA 19081

Linvilla Orchards Blueberry Festival (July 11)

Haverford First Fest Music Festival (July 18)

Kelly Music for Life presents this FREE Event celebrating first responders in Paddock Park.  Co-Hosted by Paddock Farms Civic Association and featuring live music, food, crafters, Inflatables for the kids and more!  214 W. Hillcrest Ave, Havertown, PA 19083

Linvilla Orchards Peach & Sunflower Festival (August 8)

Celebrate National Peach Month.  In addition to 30 acres of peach trees, there are acres of sunflowers creating a magical and breathtaking experience.  The day will be “jam”-packed with Sunflower Selfies, Pick Your Own Peaches, Hayrides, Face Painting, Train Rides, Fishing, Music, Games and so much more! Delco Chalk Fest (August 22 & 23)

Illumination 250 & Drone Show (August 29)

A landmark community celebration in Haverford Township as the nation approaches America’s 250th birthday. The festival, presented by Visit Delco, is a full-day, family-friendly event featuring live music, food trucks, inflatables, historical characters, a craft village, and more. Historic Chadds Ford Days (September 19)

Join the Chadds Ford Historical Society for a historical journey back to September 11th, 1777, when the British army engaged Washington’s troops at Chads’ Ford.  Two timed skirmishes and a firing demo will take place each day.  Additionally, reenactors, demonstrators and other historians will be on site.  Live music, food, and beverages will be available.  1736 Creek Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317

Chadds Ford Historical Society:  Tavern Night in the Grove (September 19)

Newlin Grist Mill Fall Festival (TBA)

Swarthmore Town Center Food Truckathon (September 18 )

The Swarthmore Co-Op  holds one of the most beloved events of the year. A variety of food trucks and vendors will be on hand for patrons to enjoy amazing food and drinks, live music and more during this town takeover.  121 Park Ave, Swarthmore, PA 19081

Marcus Hook Pirate Festival (TBA)

Head to The Marcus Hook Preservation Society’s Annual Pirate Festival to experience a full pirate encampment with period tents and showcases of crafts, firearms, cannons and even beer making. Haverford Township Music Festival (September 26)

Featuring popular and rising artists, representing various musical genres, from Haverford Township, the greater Philadelphia area, New Jersey, central Pennsylvania and beyond. Upper Darby International Festival (TBA)

Celebrate Upper Darby’s rich cultural diversity through food, live performances, and activities for the whole family. The festival is presented by Upper Darby in partnership with the Friends of the Tower Theater District.
