Dining Under the Stars (May 6 – September 30)

Every Wednesday, the Borough closes Statvehicular traffic from 5-11pm.  This allows Media’s great restaurants and shops to set up outside (right across the trolley tracks!) for the biggest, most fun, alfresco shopping and dining event around.  State Street, Media, PA 19063

Rose Tree Park Summer Music Festival (June 17 – August 16)

You can’t beat a free concert—especially at a scenic outdoor amphitheater in one of Delco’s most beautiful parks! The festival celebrates 50+ years of incredible music with an eclectic lineup where anything goes—classical to Cajun, Motown to rock, Broadway, and everything in between. 1671 N. Community Arts Center Tie Dye Music Festival (July 18)

Free, family-friendly summer event featuring live local bands, hands-on tie-dye art, and community vendors. Haverford First Fest Music Festival (July 18)

Linvilla Orchards Peach & Sunflower Festival (August 8)

Delco Chalk Fest (August 22 & 23)

Illumination 250 & Drone Show (August 29)

A landmark community celebration in Haverford Township as the nation approaches America’s 250th birthday. The festival, presented by Visit Delco, is a full-day, family-friendly event featuring live music, food trucks, inflatables, historical characters, a craft village, and more. Historic Chadds Ford Days (September 19)

Join the Chadds Ford Historical Society for a historical journey back to September 11th, 1777, when the British army engaged Washington’s troops at Chads’ Ford.  Two timed skirmishes and a firing demo will take place each day.  Additionally, reenactors, demonstrators and other historians will be on site.  Live music, food, and beverages will be available.  1736 Creek Road, Chadds Ford, PA 19317

Marcus Hook Pirate Festival (September 19)

Head to The Marcus Hook Preservation Society’s Annual Pirate Festival to experience a full pirate encampment with period tents and showcases of crafts, firearms, cannons and even beer making. Upper Darby International Festival (September 19)
